Emergency Procedures

In any emergency, your safety comes first. Do not risk personal harm to protect equipment or property.

Fire or Evacuation

1. Activate the nearest fire alarm pull station if safe to do so.
2. Exit the building immediately using the nearest stairwell or exit — do not use elevators.
3. Close doors behind you but do not lock them.
4. Proceed to the assembly area: the parking lot directly in front of the building.
5. Call 911 if you have not already done so.
6. Do not re-enter the building until emergency services declare it safe.

Medical Emergency

1. Call 911 immediately.
2. Do not move an injured or ill person unless they are in immediate danger.
3. Notify Management as soon as possible.
4. Remain with the person until emergency services arrive.

Security Incident or Threat

If you witness or suspect a security threat (intruder, threatening behavior, active danger):

1. Remove yourself from danger if you can do so safely.
2. Call 911 immediately.
3. Notify Management.
4. Do not confront the individual.
5. Follow all instructions from emergency services.

Power Outage

1. Emergency lighting will activate automatically.
2. Save your work and log off systems if power has not returned within a few minutes.
3. Contact Management to determine whether to remain on-site or work remotely.
4. Do not open the server room or network closet.
