Disciplinary Process
X Studios uses a progressive discipline approach to address performance and conduct issues. The goal is to give employees a clear opportunity to correct behavior before more serious action is taken.
Progressive Discipline Steps
1. Verbal Warning
A manager or member of Leadership will discuss the issue with you directly. This conversation will be documented internally.
2. Written Warning
If the issue continues, or is serious enough to warrant escalation, a written warning will be issued. It will clearly describe the problem, the expected corrective action, and the timeline for improvement.
3. Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
A formal PIP outlines specific, measurable goals and a defined timeframe (typically 30–90 days) within which improvement is expected. Regular check-ins will be scheduled to track progress.
4. Termination
If improvement is not achieved within the PIP period, or if the conduct warrants immediate action, employment may be terminated.
Immediate Termination
Certain offenses may result in immediate termination without following the progressive steps above, including but not limited to:
- Theft or fraud
- Harassment or discrimination
- Violation of the NDA or client confidentiality
- Workplace violence or threats
- Gross misconduct or ethical violations
Right to Appeal
If you believe a disciplinary action has been applied unfairly, you may request a review by speaking with any member of Leadership. X Studios is committed to fair and consistent application of this policy.
