Team Insurance

As an employee of X Studios, you are also eligible for our benefits program. Additional information regarding our benefits program will be reviewed during your onboarding.

Medical Insurance

X Studios pays 50% of your monthly insurance premium (covering you and any dependents - spouse and/or children). We currently are covered under a UnitedHealthcare® group plan.

Office visit copays are as follows:

A copay is a fixed out-of-pocket amount paid by an insured (you) for covered services.

Dental Insurance

Dental insurance is opt-in only and should you elect to do so, you will cover 100% of the added premium.

Continuation of Benefits

Under the Federal Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), employees may be allowed to continue their health insurance benefits, at the employee’s expense, for up to 18 months after experiencing a qualifying event as outlined below. To qualify for COBRA continuation coverage, an employee must have a qualifying event that causes the employee to lose group health coverage. The following are qualifying events for the employee:

  • Voluntary or involuntary termination of employment for reasons other than gross misconduct
  • Reduction in the number of hours of employment

Workers’ Compensation

To provide for payment of your medical expenses and for partial salary continuation in the event of a work-related accident or illness, you are covered by workers’ compensation insurance. The amount of benefits payable and the duration of payment depend on the nature of your injury or illness.

If you are injured or become ill on the job, you must immediately report such injury or illness to Management. This ensures that X Studios can assist you in obtaining appropriate medical treatment. Your failure to follow this procedure may result in the appropriate workers’ compensation report not being filed in accordance with the law, which may consequently jeopardize your right to benefits in connection with the injury or illness.
