Welcome to X Studios, you made it! We’re thrilled to have you on the team! An interesting and challenging experience awaits you as a Team Member at X Studios, Inc.

Included inside this handbook, you’ll review our guidelines for employment with X Studios. Although there is no pop quiz at the end, we do expect you to review these policies and take it seriously. Completed during the Onboarding process, all new hires will be required to sign a receipt from reading this handbook.

We work in an ever-changing landscape of Creative & Interactive Design. We don’t wear suits, and this definitely isn’t your typical workplace.

We got rid of the cubicles, we refer to each other as part of the same “fam”, and truly love what we do. We love our dynamic team, always remember to be yourself, laugh, don’t take it too seriously, have fun, and you’ll be golden.

Policy Changes¶

From time to time, you may receive updated information concerning changes in policy. Although we will try to notify you of such changes, either by distributing them or by using other appropriate means, X Studios, Inc. reserves the right to alter these policies without advance notice.

Accordingly, X Studios’ various policies and procedures, whether located in this handbook or otherwise, are not intended to create contractual rights and shall not be construed as such. Further, this version of the handbook supersedes all prior versions.

Our Past, Your Future¶

When X Studios came to fruition, being a design and development studio was our core focus. The digital landscape was different then. As we moved through creating custom web applications, we continued to grow year after year as a company.

With big ideas and a lot of passion, X Studios was born in early 2006. From the very beginning, we had no funding, no pre-established clients or even an office. What we did have, was a massive fire for ‘doing it right’ and producing stellar work, each and every time.

Project by project our clients have grown. In just a short span, we have been privileged to work with some of the largest brands in the world – Red Bull®, Royal Carribean, EA Sports, Universal Parks & Resorts, Disney, Google, Intel®, Coca-Cola®, T-Mobile, Mastercard®, Halo®, Lady Gaga and more.

The work is ever changing and growing, and we are on the cutting edge, actually the bleeding edge of technology. Pushing creative storytelling, technology-driven experiences further everyday, and having a ‘dream team’ that can come up with ways to storytell like never before —
